There are varieties of vegetarian delicacies cooked in Maharashtrian homes in various regions of Maharashtra, but people staying in Maharashtra as well as outside ( foreigners) do not get to taste all of it since there is not a single stand-alone fine dining ethnic restaurant serving authentic regional food from Marathwada, Vidharbha, Khandesh, Western Maharashtra, Konkan, Greter Mumbai regions of the state. Maharashtra is also proud to have specialty food prepared by different marathi community like CKPs, Pathare Prabhus, Saraswats, Saojis, Brahmins, Bhandaris, Marathas, Kolis, East Indians etc. Maharashtra is surrounded by 6 states viz. Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Chattisgarh, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Goa, Daman,. So there is a strong gastronomic influence of Moghals, Nizams, North Indians, Portuguese & British.And thus came up the concept of ‘Diva Maharashtracha’, a true authentic Restobar that will serve exquisite Marathi cuisine from all the regions & cultures as also exotic delicacies you will enjoy of different communities. Some them were like Sonali Kulakarni, Isha Kopikar, Milind Soman, Sanjeev Kapoor, Anil Deshmukh, Dilip Piramal, Madhur Bhandarkar etc. |
